Even though we are living in the internet era, I am deeply convinced that direct contacts with clients based on mutual trust are essential. As the translation sector is extremely broad and several elements such as the translation domain, the complexity of the source, deadlines and others, are contributing to the formation of a pricing rate, I decided not to create an interactive website which produces automatic quotations.

ABOUT ME
I was born in Wangen/Allgäu (Germany) on 25 September 1964. Already as a child I was fascinated by foreign cultures and languages and thus I decided after the secondary education to study English and French at the BFS Fremdsprachen-Institut Augsburg.
After having spent the first years of my professional career in Germany, I decided at the age of 28 to move to Italy where I attended an intensive Italian language course at University for Foreigners’ of Perugia. I was lucky to get immediately a job in an important and prestigious international law firm in the Umbrian capital. During the 18 years of collaboration I had the opportunity acquire the necessary knowledge to specialize in the field of legal translations.
Since 2006 I have been registered as expert translator with the Court Register of Perugia on behalf of which I also carried out several jobs.
Since 2008 I have been working as a freelance translator for private individuals and corporate clients, lawyers and notary publics, with a focus on the legal and commercial sector.
I am a German native speaker with a very good knowledge of Italian, English and French.
Translations, mostly from Italian, English and French into my mother tongue German; in some cases I can also translate into Italian and work with other language combinations.
